T-shirt quilt tutorial: Binding

Here are the final videos in the How to Make a T-shirt Quilt series. The first video focuses on preparing the binding and sewing it to the top of your quilt with a sewing machine. The second shows you how to stitch the binding to the back of the quilt by hand using an invisible stitch.

Thanks for following along with these tutorials. Make sure to post photos of your finished T-shirt quilt to the Flickr group for this project.

  1. What stitch length does she recommended using when sewing the cornerstone fabric onto the sashing fabric? What do you think about cutting the 12 1/2 in sashing fabric so that the sashing stripes would be cut on the length of grain rather than crosswise grain

  2. The width of the smashing w cornerstones is 3″xwhat length? I will also go back and watch the video 3 again also, Tks.
